Veteran’s Day in Medora, ND A day dedicated in Medora to the Veterans of our country. All veterans and their families are invited to enjoy Historic Medora as we honor their service to our country. All veterans receive a free Medora Musial ticket and ticket for the Veterans Country Western Concert. For more information and reservations call 1-800-633-6721. National Day of Atomic Remembrance The 66th anniversary of the first atomic explosion and all veterans who were exposed to radiation in the line of military duty will be recognized during the National Atomic Veterans Day of Remembrance at 11:30 a.m. There will be a light lunch. 22nd Annual Branson Motorcycle Toy Run November 4th at 1:00 pm sponsored by the VFW Post 5168 of Forsyth. Please no stuffed animals. Toys and coats are needed. Donations will benefit Taney County families. Meeting at Parsleys Country Jubilee, 2920 West Hwy. 76, Branson. Departs at 1:00 pm. National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day A special ceremony will commemorate “the day that will live in infamy” beginning at noon in front of the water and fire show area at Branson Landing. The ceremony is to honor those who were lost at Pearl Harbor and will end with a wreath-laying ceremony in Lake Taneycomo. This is a free event and the public is welcome.
